What is Art Therapy?
Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art as the primary source of communication.

All sessions are confidential, unless you suggest any safeguarding concerns, which will be discussed. We will read through a professional contract regarding this to ensure you feel safe.
Overtime, you will develop a therapeutic rapport with myself, as your Art Therapist and support network.
Any art materials can be used- you can be as imaginative as you need!
Based within a non-judgmental, therapeutic environment, in which you are encouraged to create artwork, in any form you wish, as long as it is created safely.
There is no right or wrong with the art materials. You do not have to be skilled with art materials, or even have used them before! I can support you in exploring new mediums and developing your creative skills, as part of your Therapy.

Open to anyone! Art Therapy can be non verbal and is highly sensory which means it is great for people with mental health issues, learning difficulties, trauma and physical challenges etc.
Harvests safe expression and release via using art materials.

Encourages personal growth in a safe environment, with a professional.
On an individual or group basis
A holistic approach; no medication involved!
